The Maldives Housekeepers Association is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with a leading Malaysian IT company to develop Giro AI, a cutting-edge, all-in-one software platform designed to transform hotel housekeeping and operational management.

This innovative platform is being developed as a comprehensive operational command center for hospitality properties. The system will integrate advanced Housekeeping Management tools, enabling real-time task assignments and progress tracking for housekeeping teams, alongside a visual Room Status Dashboard that provides instant oversight of room availability and service updates.

A key component of Giro AI is its Inventory Management system, which helps hotels monitor linens, amenities, and housekeeping equipment efficiently—ensuring that valuable resources are properly tracked and managed.

The platform will also include a streamlined Maintenance Ticket system, allowing housekeeping teams to quickly report technical issues to engineering departments. Additionally, the software modernizes the Lost & Found process through digital records and photo documentation, improving transparency and guest service.

Another powerful feature of Giro AI is Multi-Property Support, allowing hotel groups or resort chains to manage operations across multiple properties from a single, secure dashboard.

The project is currently in its final stages of development and testing. The official public release of the Giro AI platform is anticipated in the last quarter of 2026.
