The Maldives Housekeepers Association (MHA), in partnership with Diversey India, successfully concluded its 4th exclusive international training program for Laundry Managers and hospitality professionals.

The intensive program was held from 23 October to 31 October 2025 in Mumbai, bringing together housekeeping and laundry professionals from the Maldives hospitality industry to enhance their technical expertise and operational knowledge.

The training focused on strengthening professional standards within hotel and resort laundry operations. Participants received hands-on learning and expert guidance on several key areas, including:

• Advanced fabric care and stain removal techniques

• Chemical management and sustainable laundry practices

• Operational workflow efficiency in commercial laundries

• Laundry equipment maintenance and performance optimization

• Hygiene and infection control standards

The program was designed specifically for Laundry Managers, Executive Housekeepers, and Laundry Supervisors, providing them with practical insights and modern industry practices that can be implemented within resorts, hotels, and guesthouses in the Maldives.

Through this international training initiative, the Maldives Housekeepers Association continues to support the professional development of housekeeping and laundry teams, contributing to higher service standards across the Maldives tourism industry.
